Board Games and Memories
The weather outside was gloomy and about 20 degrees, so the boyfriends family decided to have a game night with spaghetti... why not wear a comfy pair of white denim with the boyfriends old button up tee, classy yet casual. After playing about two hours worth of Connect Four and Candy Land, we all shared our memories from 2009 and made a list of what we wanted to accomplish for this year, mine are as follows:
1. Visit the gym at least once a week
2. Brush teeth three times a day
3. Floss teeth everyday
4. Be more sociable
5. Take many more pictures
6. Get a 4.0 by time I graduate
7. Visit family more
8. Give back to the community once a month
9. Eat better
10. Travel more

Apology
Dear readers of my blog:
I am writing you all a sincere apology in regards towards my last post. I have been absent for some time due to a family emergency. I am not going to lie to you, my grandmother was admitted into the hospital just days prior to Christmas, she had a heart attack. After her visit with the doctor, they described her heart attack as a complication from a clot within her atrium, both sides. The left filled with 90% and the right about 75%. They then scheduled an immediate triple by-pass surgery. Fortunately, my grandmother came out of the surgery very well and soon started to breath on her own.
I am lucky to have her in my life and it makes me think of all of the things that I take for granted. You see, I haven't seen my grandmother in about three years, so it broke my heart when I heard about this troubling news. I now want to no longer take things for granted, experience all that I can, and spend as much time with my family. I miss them so.
I felt that you needed to know this because I have been absent for some time. I apologize for this.
On a lighter note, my grandmother is doing well, and I will be posting my next post tomorrow.
I also wish you all a happy new year and hope that you all keep in good health along with your loved ones. XO

Midnight Russian
Throughout the day of purchasing coffee, food and the occasional window shopping... I received comments from random individuals asking if I were traveling to the Alps today! So, I felt that not only the simple but cute black on black outfit was worthy of a photo shoot, but the hat just needed to be in the spot light. It's so funny how a mothers random purchase of warmth for her daughter in a bitter city could make such a fashionable statement. Thanks for the contribution mom! xo

Miao Lust
Dorthy... there's no place like Rolling Stone Vintage. These wild sequin vintage stilettos are just enough of the 80's look without looking like a technicolor design from hell and only for $68.00. They are super cute and I must have them. I also must add that this site has a snazzy collection of shoes, accessories and clothing from all different areas of vintage. Hello Christmas Shopping list!

Just a lovely day of shooting at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for another photo shoot for a great Southside treasure called Fig Leaf. I wanted to feel comfortable, but still have that professional look with my personality into it. So I paired a snazzy cotton shirt dress with a leather jacket and studded leather booties to spice up the outfit.
